the Truth about Mother's Day

Well, here you have it. This is the Truth about Mother's Day. I may have felt sorry for myself that Day, which I'm good at, but the reality is that I am the Mother of a Wonderful Little Boy who made this clever card for me.

And that, really, is all that matters. Even the fact that the Child's father seeks custody and I face the battle of my life is trivial compared to this Truth.

And right outside the door of the house where the Wonderful Little Boy resides with me is an abundance of Truth, as you see in this photo.

The Truth is that I am Blessed.

He is a beautiful child and so is his mom. Im glad that it was a good day for you and that you can step back a little and see all the beauty around you.
Today I had a meeting at a school for severely handicapped children and realized I have nothing to complain about.
Blessings to you and your little man...

Thank you, Maria. It was your Mother's Day post which inspired me to do this one, as I think you know. Now more than ever, I choose to focus on appreciation, and, as you say, the fact that I have nothing to complain about.

Blessings to you and your family.

Hugs,
Betty

I so hope that your lawyer will be able to win custody for you as you desire --
I will write more later tonight, when I have a chance to read your mother's day post --

Dear Annie,

It's so good to be seeing you again...our weekend is going well- the child is on a Cub Scouts campout, and I would be there too but had to work, so he's with school friends. I miss him terribly.

Hugs,
Betty

That is so cute! Sometimes God sends you messages in the strangest form ... I think He is going to make everything come out okay for you. My Mother's Day post had to do with how blessed we are to be mothers. I'm keeping you in my prayers.

Dear Betty,
Been a long time, and I caught up with your posts. Too bad about Mr.Bruce...But don't let him bully you. Show a picture of your son to the judge and he/she can very well see that this is a normal kid growing up well.

Take care, and hugs!

Priya.

Dear Priya,

It's great to see you again! I like your assessment of my situation. In a just world, it would be clear that things are working well as they are now; nothing should be changed.

Hugs,
Betty

Dear Lisa,

I was just thinking that you're right, and I wish we could just focus on how lucky we are. But then I realized that we actually can, regardless of what's going on!
Let's hope I stick with this revelation.

Hugs,
Betty

Dear Annie,

Thank you for asking how I'm doing! I'm definitely struggling, feeling off track. I need some kind of guru or life coach to move in with me and show me how to maintain a positive outlook.

I hope you're doing well!

Hugs,
Betty
